This series of historical walking tours will focus on the churches and welfare of Brunswick, with stops at 8 iconic locations for a deep dive into their illustrious pasts, right up to their present day.

Teaming up with the Brunswick Community History Group, and led by their local experts, attendees will take a leisurely and incredibly insightful walk within the Sydney Road Brunswick precinct, stepping back in time and into some iconic venues.
Stops on the churches & welfare themed tour series include:
- Brunswick Baptist Church
- The Salvation Army Citadel
- Manchester Unity Lodge (now The Hall at Welcome to Brunswick)
- Wesleyan Church
- St. Ambrose Church
- Christ Church
- Brunswick Town Hall
- Brunswick Uniting Church
At the final stop of the tour, attendees will enjoy a scoop of ice cream and the opportunity to have a casual chat about the sights and stories of Sydney Road Brunswick.
These walking tours will cost $25 (plus 50c ticket fee) each, and run for approximately 1.5 hours, commencing at 11am and ending around 12.30pm.
Included in the ticket cost is:
- Printed booklet with images and information on each of the stops
- Sydney Road Brunswick tote bag with collateral
- Walking tour and knowledge exchange
- Scoop of ice cream from a local business at the end of the tour

Please note that this series of the historical walking tours are from the footpaths of Sydney Road Brunswick and inside some of the stops listed above. Some of these locations include flights of stairs. The walk itself will be a slow stroll, for roughly 1km, with stops along the way, at the above locations.
